Long Gold Plated Chain Necklace

A gold-plated chain necklace, long at 23", built on stainless steel.

The specification is short because there is nothing here to hide behind. Stainless steel underneath, 18K gold plating over it, nickel-free and lead-free, and hypoallergenic as a result of both. It is water resistant, which is the difference between jewellery you have to remember to take off and jewellery you do not. At 23" the chain sits well below the collarbone rather than up at the throat.

Length is what this necklace is for. It drops low enough to read clearly against a plain top on its own, and it makes the long tier in a layered stack when something shorter sits above it. Nothing about it competes for attention, which is what lets it be worn every day and with anything at all.
