High Rise Wide Leg Jeans in Light Denim

A pair of jeans cut high at the waist and wide the whole way down the leg, in a light denim.

The combination is deliberate. A high rise sets the waistline, and the wide leg falling from it lengthens the line of the leg below. The hardware is conventional and it works: belt loops, and a zip fly. The blend is 98% cotton with 1% rayon and 1% polyester, so these wear like denim rather than like something stretchy pretending to be it. The inseam measures 32", and the size chart carries the rest. The model is 5'8 and wearing a size 3.

Light denim keeps these casual by default, which is where a wide leg is most at home anyway. A fitted top balances the volume below; an oversized one leans into it instead. Flat shoes or a heel both disappear underneath.
